The facades with perforated metal are a trend in the current architecture world thanks to its innumerable benefits. The perforated cladding has the ability to add depth and texture to generate a unique design concept for each building. In addition, the size of the perforations allows generating special bioclimatic conditions, since it is possible to manage the ventilation and the amount of natural light that the building receives inside.
With the combination of technologies and manufacturing capabilities of MetalTech-Global we can develop all kinds of perforations to make your facade designs come true. From standard, circular perforations in different diameters and opening percentages, to designs with three-dimensional shapes and PixArt, replicating images with photorealistic depth and quality on the desired facade scale.
In this image gallery, we show you the manufacturing process of the perforated panels of one of the most representative buildings in New Jersey, the Landsea Site 7.
Until January 20th, the Atlanta International Museum of Art & Design, MODA will have the exhibit “Design for Good: Architecture for Everyone” open to the public.
“This exhibition captures character-driven, real-world stories from across the globe about design that fosters a sense of belonging and dignity. It’s not about designers. It’s about the lives all of us lead, inextricably shaped by the spaces and places we inhabit. For too long design has been seen as a luxury, the province of the rich. That can no longer be acceptable to the design field, nor to those affected by the field, which is to say, absolutely everybody” (www.museumofdesign.org).
The National Memorial for Peace and Justice, a project designed by Mass Design Group in partnership with EJI and manufactured by MetalTech-Global has a leading role in the exhibition.
Design for Good “is curated by John Cary, author of the book Design for Good: A New Era of Architecture for Everyone. John is an architect, writer, speaker, and curator focused on design and philanthropy. Consulting principally for TED, he is also an advisor to an array of foundations and nonprofits globally” (MODA).
The MODA is located in 1315 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.
