As MetalTech-Global CEO, COVID-19 Impact on MetaTech, I would like to start by thanking you for the trust you put in us each day. The health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers are our top priority. We hope that you and your employees remain safe and healthy during this challenging time.

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve rapidly while affecting all businesses, including MetalTech-Global. We want to inform you that MetalTech-Global will continue to operate along with its suppliers to support businesses like yours.

At this time, based on our review of the various government restrictions, we believe that MetalTech-Global can continue to operate in order to support the manufacture, distribution, and supply chain for critical products and industries. In fact, various government entities have specifically identified products we produce as a critical and essential industry in the supply chain that should continue operations. We believe that, along with you, we have an obligation and a responsibility to do just that. In order to provide guidance to state and local authorities on imposing restrictions, the federal government issued a memorandum the “CISA Memo” that identified 16 critical infrastructure sectors whose assets, systems, and networks are considered so vital to the US that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, economic security, public health or safety.

We believe that MetalTech-Global is under two of those sectors:

(i) Energy,

(ii) Transportation Logistics.

Therefore, we intend to keep production going in Peachtree City, Georgia plant in strict compliance with any orders presently or in the future issued by state and local authorities.

We take the safety of our employees very seriously and MetalTech-Global is committed to operate in a No-Harm-To-Anyone-At- environment at all times. This includes maintaining the health and safety of our employees as our number one priority and strictly adhering to the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), State and Local Departments of Health, and any other applicable.

We are working hard to promote responsible behavior among our workers, and we are keeping an eye on this rapidly evolving situation in order to proactively address the risks associated with coming into work every day. As a valued customer to MetalTech-Global, we want to assure you that, so long as the state and local authorities allow us, we will continue to operate and maintain an uninterrupted delivery as best we can of products to avoid disruption of your supply chain. Please note that we have adopted CDC-suggested mitigation measures and request that our customers do the same. Some states have issued COVID-19 related restrictions, such as governor-issued executive orders.

We believe that MetalTech-Global can continue to operate under these restrictions, as the restrictions are either directed to non-applicable areas, such as school closures, or they provide specific exceptions for the critical infrastructure sectors or essential businesses supply chain. Attached is a list of state restrictions as of the date of this letter that may be applicable to you. It is the responsibility of each of our customers to review applicable state requirements and consult with local authorities as necessary to ensure conformance with such requirements. Certain local governments have also instituted COVID-19 related restrictions. We are not aware of any local restrictions that would prevent MetalTech-Global from continuing to operate to support the critical infrastructure supply chain. It is the responsibility of each of our customers to check their own local requirements and consult with local authorities to ensure conformance with such requirements.

Thank you for your continued support of our business and our nation’s critical infrastructure. We want to be a partner with you.

MetalTech-Global is committed to continue operations to support the supply chain of essential products to the critical infrastructure. This is a rapidly changing situation, and as such, federal, state, and local law is subject to change.

Please be aware that this letter provides information as of the date noted above. To the best of our capacity, we will inform you if or when we become aware of a change that impacts us. Please do not hesitate to reach out to MetalTech-Global if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Nils E. Simonsen
